Jeffrey Plett received a master’s degree in music composition from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music in 2019 where he studied with Dr. Adriana Verdie, Dr. Carolyn Bremer, Dr. Alexander Miller, and Dr. Martin Herman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music composition from California State University, Fullerton, where he studied composition with Dr. Pamela Madsen and saxophone performance with James Rötter.
Jeffrey has played in performances of new music on saxophone, piano, flute, ocarina, and experimental instruments at venues such as the Getty Center, Crystal Cove State Park, the Mortuary in Downtown LA, CalArts, University of La Verne, Pomona College, CSULB, and CSUF. He enjoys writing for experimental instruments, and is inspired by video game music, electronic dance music, and minimalism.
